What does having endometriosis at 20 entail?
I am 20 years old and I was just diagnosed with endometriosis. The only thing I know is that the doctor wants to perform some sort of surgery. I want to know what should I expect being diagnosed so early, what sort of treatment helps to keep it away or any insight in this matter. THANKS
I know what it is, I just want to know what to expect now that I have been diagnosed.

You ‘need’ to have surgery ONLY with an expert. It can help, for sure, but many ob/gyns if not all do not know how to remove ALL endo – they laser or burn it which causes MORE problems. i went to the CEC in atlanta, they’re wonderful
center for endo dot com
ALSO, diet can help, dian s mill has wonderful books and sites
the erc also has a board that offers support for young women under 25, google it for sure (and doc recc’s)
